Placing the Romance in Weddings

When you say your vows, you want to be whisked away to an unforgettable realm, where the finer details make your wedding so special. Every aspect of your wedding should echo opulence and elegance; after all you are in the golden triangle of Paris. Whether you want views of the Hotel’s Garden Courtyard, or of the Montmartre, Hotel Plaza Athénée offers palatial paradise that is essential for your fairytale wedding.

An Award-Winning Wedding Venue

Hotel Plaza Athénée first opened its doors in 1913 on avenue Montaigne, and the restaurant was overseen by Jacques-Léon Colombier. Initially, Hotel Plaza Athénée was a place for composers and artists to get inspiration from the incredible views and architecture (some designed by Jules Lefebvre). In 1947, Christian Dior opened his flagship couture house, and Hotel Plaza Athénée became synonymous with couture and decadence.

The Dorchester Collection acquired Hotel Plaza Athénée in 2001, and in 2012 the hotel was awarded the official French distinction of a palace, finally giving it the recognition that it deserves.

The Ultimate Guest Experience

With five elegant function suites to choose from (covering 400 sq. metres) your guests will be enthralled by the incredible surroundings. Salon Haute Couture is the largest room and can hold 200 for a standing cocktail reception or 110 seated for dinner. The Hotel is a five-minute walk away from Alma-Marceau and a seven-minute walk from De Champ-Elysées. Perhaps dine for lunch in a Michelin-starred restaurant after having some of the luxury treatments at the spa.
