We are looking for an exceptional superstar Party & Wedding Planner in a demanding  role. You will be well travelled and have at least two years previous experience in organising high-end luxury private events internationally (Weddings, Private Parties & Social Events). You will be used to working in a very small team and will hit the ground running, working with new and existing HNW clients, supporting the Director closely with planning, production and execution of events both in the UK and abroad. 

Starting from the initial brief to the delivery of the event, you will be assist with (and sometimes lead) the entire process of putting together our amazing parties. This is a challenging role in a high-pressure volatile environment requiring you to stay incredibly positive, organised and be an efficient multi-tasker with a never say die attitude. You will sacrifice some evenings and weekends. In return, you will receive a competitive salary, commission, incentives, additional holidays and the chance to travel worldwide. 


Event Planning

  • To support the Director in planning events and parties 
  • To take the lead in planning some events 
  • Contacting suppliers for new quotations and liaising with our suppliers for current events 
  • Site visits to venues and client/supplier meetings 
  • Client side communication 
  • Sourcing venues for new events both in the UK and internationally and arranging site inspections


Event Design

  • Researching themes and ideas for our events 
  • Creating moodboards and conceptual designs 
  • Collating fabrics and samples 
  • Assisting with design proposals for clients and suppliers 


Event Coordination and Management

  • Assisting with on-site coordination of events including very early starts and very late finishes 
  • Assisting with management of suppliers and overseeing the deliveries, setup and strike of events 
  • Helping with guest relations and hospitality at our events 


Secretarial

  • General admin work 
  • Arranging travel, visas and accommodation and, occasionally, travelling with the Director to take notes at meetings or to assist with client pitches and presentations 
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate 
  • Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the Director is well prepared for meetings


Desired skills

  • Experience in a wide range of high-end international private events 
  • Hard working with Positive energy with a willingness to deliver on time 
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral 
  • Highly presentable 
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills 
  • Bilingual (not essential but preferred) 
  • Driving license required/Own transport would be preferred
