When you choose to have your dream destination wedding in Opera Garnier, Paris, you’ll have an experience like no other. Founded by Louis XIV in 1669, Opéra Garnier was formerly known as the Académie d'Opéra. Later, it was under the leadership of Jean-Baptiste Lully and was renamed; Académie Royale de Musique, but was still referred to as the Opéra. We know this building today as the Opéra National de Paris, and it produces operas at its modern 2700-seat theatre. Ballet as we know it came from this beautiful building, along with some world-class acts.

Opéra Garnier Paris Wedding Costs

In order to have the wedding of your dreams at the sumptuous Parisian opera house, the French public monument will have to close its doors to the public and be privatised for 12h or 24h, which will come at a fee. Some guidelines will also have to be followed to protect the building and its artwork, and other details budgeted in as well to comply with these requirements. Hence, you can expect the cost of a wedding at Opera Garnier to start from €300,000+.
