A few months ago, our luxury wedding planners had the pleasure of organising an extraordinary wedding over four days across London and Oxford for 50 VIP guests flying from the US.
Upon their arrival, guests were invited to settle at the famed Claridge’s London. A hallmark of timeless glamour in Mayfair, Claridge’s is renowned for its opulent suites, acclaimed dining and refined rituals.
When the evening came, a grand welcome dinner saw the guests gather at China Tang at The Dorchester, for one of the finest Cantonese dining experiences followed by evening festivities. As the epitome of art deco elegance, China Tang is an iconic London dining destination, offering praised authentic Chinese food in a highly glamorous and flamboyant setting.
On Friday night, a spectacular rehearsal dinner was planned at The Folly in Oxford, where guests arrived by boat following a stunning river cruise during which they sipped on Champagne.
A unique riverside restaurant in the heart of Oxford, The Folly is renowned for its selection of fresh seasonal ingredients and its sun-soaked terrace floating on the River Thames. Whether an engagement celebration, private dinner or a cocktail party in the sun, The Folly is a magnificent spot, even more splendid when the sun sets.
On Saturday, our luxury party planners arranged for the guests to be transported from London to Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, where the wedding celebrations would take place, via Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck restaurant for an unforgettable lunch. Serving perfectly executed delectable one-of-a-kind dishes, the Fat Duck offers a distinctive multisensory gastronomic experience which takes their guests on an extraordinary emotional journey down memory lane.
After lunch, guests took part in some playful activities at Le Manoir, including a floral masterclass, clay pigeon shooting and a tour of the breathtaking Le Manoir grounds and gardens. Falconers, hot air ballooning over Oxford or punting on the river. Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons offers a plethora of exciting outdoors activities to entertain guests in its magical setting.
A peaceful haven located in Great Milton, 30 minutes away from Oxford, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons is an astounding 15th-century manor set amidst the glorious English countryside. Owned by 2-star Michelin chef Raymond Blanc OBE and managed by Belmond Hotels, Le Manoir offers the most picturesque Provençal-style setting for luxury Cotswolds weddings. Perfectly manicured gardens, gastronomic excellence and enchanting event spaces. With 23 guest rooms and suites and a full buyout option available, Le Manoir is the perfect host for grand wedding celebrations or exclusive parties.
Our guests enjoyed a two Michelin-starred five-course tasting menu and wine pairing in the Dining Room and Conservatory, which accommodates up to 50 seated guests. Using only the finest ingredients grown in their vast gardens, guests experienced an evening of true culinary alchemy like no other.
Following a few days of joyous celebrations, guests gathered one last time at the fabulous Harry’s Bar in Mayfair for a farewell dinner.
Part of the famous Birley Clubs, Harry’s Bar, is one of London’s most exclusive and elegant private member’s clubs. Beautiful décor, fine food and first-class service. Harry’s Bar offers an eclectic setting amongst Venetian chandeliers, Murano glassware and Fortuny fabrics which will transform any occasion into a remarkable event.
