Your Wedding on Necker Island

Plan your wedding or party on one of the world’s most exclusive islands. Necker Island is a 30-hectare British Virgin Island north of Virgin Gorda, and is owned by business tycoon, Sir Richard Branson. Luscious green rolling hills surrounded by glittering white sandy beaches and sparkling blue oceans. Imagine spending the build-up to your luxury destination wedding scuba diving or embarking on a relaxing island walk as you explore everything Necker Island has to offer; from the exotic wildlife to the colourful flora, fauna and delicious fruits. The evenings are spent taking in the spectacular sunset as you unwind with some yoga.

You and your loved one can spend the morning of your wedding relaxing in the beautiful Bali Leha and Bali Samudra spa treatment rooms, as we prepare the private beach at Necker Island for your paradisiac wedding reception. As you walk down the sandy beach aisle towards your loved one, this will be the perfect beginning of the rest of your life.

An Intimate Wedding in Paradise

This barefoot Caribbean island offers a private paradise like no other and remained uninhabited until the late 20th century. Branson purchased Necker Island in 1978, later on hosting his wedding there, his daughter Holly also deciding to make it the location of her own nuptials. Using Asian antiques, Brazilian hardwoods, local stones, art pieces, Indian Rugs and bamboo furniture imported from Bali, Branson turned this abandoned Caribbean island into a tropical oasis. With ten Balinese style villas offering a 360-degree view of the island and a luxury grand house, it is easy to see why Barack and Michelle Obama, along with Harry Styles and Mariah Carey frequent there.

This tropical paradise accommodates up to 34 guests, but if you want a celebration for up to 200 people, our BVI luxury wedding planners and party planners will work with neighbouring resorts and islands such as Rosewood Little Dix Bay and Moskito Island to accommodate your extra guests, private transport included. Say ‘I do’ on Turtle Beach as you feel the sand between your toes or make the most of the sunset as you say your vows at The Great Southern Terrace. When you choose to have your destination wedding or party at Necker Island and enlist Scarlet as your wedding or party planners, we are your service 24/7.

An Idyllic Wedding and Party Location

Necker Island also offers numerous options for your luxury wedding or party. From a six-course gala dinner to an informal gathering on Bali Hi Beach lit by tiki torches, we’ll create the perfect celebration to suit you and your loved ones. The Beach Pool Pavilion alongside Main Beach has a large crocodile shaped table and a Jacuzzi for up to 30 guests, perfect for the party to continue late into the night!
