Badrutt’s Palace boasts 120 splendid rooms and 37 suites — perfect for sleeping around 300 guests. Coupled with a start of the art spa and wellness centre, with panoramic views of the surroundings, it’s the perfect place in which to indulge in rest and relaxation whilst our luxury wedding planners take care of every details for you.
In 1856 Johannes Badrutt bought a small guesthouse in St. Moritz and started to create the Hotel Engadiner Kulm, which is today known as the Kulm Hotel St Moritz. This came with an artificial coasting slide and a curling ground for his guests. Eight years later, the son of Caspar Badrutt bought the Hotel Beau Rivage in St. Moritz and created the Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.
The historic tower was rebuilt and refurbished in 1967 and in 1970 a luxury swimming pool and a fitness centre were added to the hotel. Alongside this, a luxury spa and private villas were added. In 2002, they added the Serletta Shopping Centre complete with international stores beneath the hotel. The Helen Badrutt Suite opened in 2003, complete with plus furnishings, a jacuzzi and marble bathrooms — this luxury suite is one of the most expensive in Badrutt’s Palace.
This luxury resort embraces all things luxury, and is a favourite place for those who want to see-and-be-seen. A popular haunt for wellness-seekers, Badrutt's Palace has a renowned spa that will help you unwind and relax in the build-up to your wedding day.
Parties and celebrations at Badrutt’s Palace over the years have been nothing short of legendary. Over the years the hotel has seen Elephants being delivered as gifts, dozens of peacocks and pink flamingos — the pool was once filled with Sea Lions! Whatever you can think of, we can deliver!
After the ceremony, it is time to make your way to your wedding reception in the Embassy Ballroom. Fitting 290 people seated for a dinner, Dita Von Teese once captivated crowds in this elegant room. With striking decor and rich mahogany interiors, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale wedding venue.
For a smaller wedding reception, the Veranda east room boasts floor to ceiling windows, giving you and your guests stunning views of Lake St Moritz and the surrounding mountains. The East Veranda fits 46 people for a party, and offers direct access to Le Grand Hall. Or why not host 400 of your guests in the restaurant for a welcome party and let our luxury party planners transform it into a magical, theatrical extravaganza!
Do not worry about the needs of your guests - Scarlet will chauffeur them from the airport to Badrutt’s Palace, leaving you to relax and make the most of your wedding.
