1. The Breakers Resort, Florida

Magic Mike stud Joe Manganiello and Modern Family star Sofia Vergara said “I Do” on 22nd November 2015 at The Breakers Resort Palm Beach in Florida (you’ve probably heard this venue mentioned by Madison Avenue’s elite in Mad Men a fair few times). The gorgeous couple had a breath-taking flower-bedecked ceremony at the Palm Beach luxury wedding venue, in front of a star-studded guest list including Channing Tatum and Reese Witherspoon. Gilded mouldings, frescoed ceilings, landscaped gardens and crystal chandeliers surrounded their guests as they danced to a live performance by Pitbull. Sofia Vergara stole the show in her incredible Zuhair Murad silk tulle white gown with a sweetheart neckline, and Manganiello looked striking in his tailored black suit.

2. The Forte di Belvedere, Florence

No one expected business mogul Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West to have a simple wedding in the US, and the couple exceeded expectations when they had their wedding rehearsal in the spectacular grounds of one of France’s château wedding venues, the Palace of Versailles. The celebrity couple then fled to Florence, Italy for their surprise wedding reception. They said their vows in the historic Forte di Belvedere. Their guest list included the likes of Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Jaden Smith, Serena Williams, LaLa, Carmelo Anthony, André Leon Talley, Rachel Roy and so on. Kim Kardashian wore four dresses and their guests danced the night away in the same space where artist Galileo completed some of his most important work.

3. Villa Pizzo, Lake Como

Model Chrissy Teigen said ‘I Do’ to All of Me singer John Legend at Villa Pizzo on Lake Como in September 2013. The brunette beauty wore a spectacular Vera Wang gown, and chose the luxury wedding venue on Lake Como, Italy, because that is where they fell in love. The couple said their vows on the breath-taking lakeside terrace of Villa Pizzo, framed by the tranquil lake and rolling mountains. Their guests then dined outdoors and celebrated with the newlyweds. The couple even had Stevie Wonder perform ‘Ribbons in the Sky’ during the wedding reception.

4. Villa d’Este, Lake Como

British Actor and English Rose Emily Blunt married American actor John Krasinski at the luxury wedding venue Villa d’Este on Lake Como. This 16th Century palace boasts a 25-acre park, landscaped English Gardens and a 500-year-old plane tree. Their wedding was kept under wraps, but it was reported that they had a private outdoor ceremony in the spectacular grounds of Villa d’Este and that Blunt wore a custom Marchesa, cream chiffon gown. Their guest list included George Clooney and his former girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.

5. Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, Paris

Desperate Housewives' actress Eva Longoria Parker and NBA star Tony Parker had a star-studded private wedding dinner in the breath-taking ballroom of Château Vaux-le-Vicomte, 55 km southeast of Paris. The wedding reception was kept secret, but we do know that their guests spent the night sweeping across the ballroom floor in the 15th-century château. The Grand Salon can seat 200 but the château also allows for a bespoke marquee to be built on the grounds should the guest numbers exceed 200.

6. Kensington Palace, London

Socialite Nicky Hilton said 'I do' to heartthrob and business mogul James Rothschild at the uber-luxury Kensington Palace, London in July 2015. The bride stayed at Claridge's where there was a constant press presence before being taken to her Kensington Palace wedding in a classically British silver Rolls-Royce. Her sister Paris was ofcourse maid of honour and following the nuptials the couple partied the night away with their celebrity guestlist. The resident's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sadly missed out on an invitation.
