Courchevel Le Praz (1300)

Courchevel Le Praz (1300) is a sleepy rural village steeped in tradition and authenticity. Set amid woodland, Courchevel Le Praz looks like it has been picked up from a Hollywood film set and placed in Les Trois Vallés. Rustic wooden houses are surrounded by mountains of untouched snow and dusted trees. This enchanting village maintained its charm, even after its expansion triggered due to the 1992 Winter Olympics. It remains a quiet and exquisite place for families with children.

Courchevel Moriond (1650)

Courchevel Moriond (1650) boasts some of the best skiing slopes in the world and has an atmosphere like no other. Michelin Starred restaurants are dotted around the valleys, and you’ll find some unique boutiques and designer outlets. Moriond boasts the beauty of Le Praz but is much busier. If you’re looking for a true skiing experience combined with relaxation and socialising in comfortable bars, then Moriond is the perfect place for you.

Courchevel (1850)

Courchevel (1850) is the crème-de-la-crème of villages in Courchevel. Attracting the wealthiest people in the world, you’ll find the crowd consists of A-List celebrities mingling with the world’s elite. Courchevel (1850) boasts two six-star “palace” hotels and numerous Michelin starred restaurants for you to choose from. Luxurious boutiques dripping with diamonds line the snowy paths, along with designers such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and so much more. Courchevel (1850) has no place for budgets - only VIPs.


What to do in Courchevel in 2018?

The opening of the 3km Toboggan Run

2018 is a huge year for Courchevel. To coincide with their new gondola, a brand new 3km toboggan run from the summit of the Ariondaz gondola lift to Courchevel 1650’s snow front has been opened. Perfect for families looking for the ultimate skiing getaway, this ultra-fun, lit-up night- time descent is sure to be fun for all the family. Boasting a racing style backdrop, eight 400 metre tunnels and unusual obstacles, it is open from 11am until close. This new 3km toboggan track is in addition to the floodlit 2.3 km toboggan track that joins Courchevel to Courchevel Village.

The International Festival of Pyrotechnic Arts

Courchevel’s famous International Festival of Pyrotechnic Arts returned this year with a Star Wars theme, which ignited excitement for all the Star Wars fans amongst us. Prepare to be astounded by this amazing sound and light show, which is takes place each year between February and March. This celebration of creativity is always a favourite feature when it comes to embracing the ultimate Courchevel experience.

International Fireworks Festival, Courchevel

There is nothing more magical than being surrounded by snow covered mountains and crisp air as you watch fireworks dance in the sky. Every year, Courchevel welcomes over 8,000 spectators to this festival. The evening will kick off with a traditional torch-lit descent by the resort's ski instructors, whilst you warm your hands, body and soul with some mulled wine. Prepare to see the most astounding fireworks display of your life!

Verdons by Night XXL

If you love night skiing, then Verdons by Night XXL is the perfect event for you. On February 22nd, participants will get to ski down the resort on a floodlit Verdons piste, as some great music and club bangers play. For the more family-oriented groups, then a visit to the family dancefloor is a must. After a night of skiing and listening to excellent music, you can then toast some marshmallows on an open fire. You can also ride the Verdons and Grangettes gondolas and take in the stunning views from a high vantage point.
