Originally commissioned in the late 18th century and lovingly restored in 2018, Benham Park has recaptured its original splendour with exquisite precision. From its sweeping staircases to its delicate plasterwork and period fireplaces, the house reflects a profound respect for its heritage. Yet its interiors feel strikingly modern - elegant, airy, and filled with light. Benham Park is a place where the past lingers gracefully, while the future unfolds beautifully in every celebration.
A wedding venue designed for the discerning
The estate’s architecture celebrates Georgian proportion and balance - every room telling a story of refined design. Ten elegantly appointed en-suite bedrooms, including two magnificent suites, provide luxurious accommodation for up to twenty guests to stay within the main house. Each suite offers its own character - from soft-toned bedrooms overlooking the parkland to bathrooms finished with marble and polished brass.
The Grand Ballroom, with its statement chandeliers and tall sash windows, seats up to 140 guests for dinner and dancing, while the Banqueting Room hosts up to 26 for more intimate celebrations. For those planning multi-day festivities, the additional reception rooms, rooftop terrace, and bar spaces allow your wedding to flow seamlessly from ceremony to celebration, and onwards to late-night gatherings with your loved ones.

Weddings may continue until midnight, with the option to extend the party for those who wish the music to linger a little longer. Fireworks are not permitted except in special circumstances, due to the neighbouring village. But with inventive lighting, live performances, and creative production, there are endless ways to bring a spectacular close to your evening. Every hire includes exclusive use of Benham Park’s estate, a dedicated House Management team, night porters, on-site security, and ample parking for over sixty vehicles - ensuring that privacy and precision are beautifully maintained from first arrival to final farewell.
